Driveline and differential

The latest generation MX5 are unfortunately often not equipped with a nice lsd, even though it does so much good to the driving characteristics and control of the car. Namely, where an open differential lets the amount of grip per wheel determine how the power is distributed (something that is hard to estimate) where an LSD distributes it depending on the amount of acceleration and that is something you as a driver can quickly tune to. This gives you a better understanding of the character of your nice throwaway car.

On the ND, 2 types of engines came and manual or automatic transmissions. Each model unfortunately has its own specific limited slip differential which fits. In doing so, OS Giken has gone to the trouble of making these 4 different locking differentials. These are ideal locking differentials for street (Totally quiet and smooth, but lots of grip), but also extremely effective on the track or even on dirt track.
