LATER ROCKER PEDESTAL STUD KIT
Installation Procedure
1.
Clean and inspect all hardware prior to installation.
Look for obvious defects or shipping damages. Please
call 805-339-2200 with any questions or problems.
2.
To ensure proper engagement and accurate torque
readings, clean the female threads of the cylinder
head. Use a thread chaser if needed.
3.
Screw the studs into the cylinder head hand tight only,
do not apply torque.
4.
Put the rocker pedestal in place.
5.
Lubricate the stud threads and nut bearing surface
with ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant.
6.
Thread the nut onto the stud hand tight then torque the
nut to:
38 ft-lbs (51.5 Nm)
