This type of clutch is not so suitable for street use and these are not available cushioned, therefore mainly for competition use. Because of the compact size of the clutch the flywheel can be made extremely light and the clutch is also very light, in addition the weight is close to the shaft so rotating mass (That can be about 180x the moment of inertia of clutch and flywheel in 1st gear, easily more than 100kg) stays as low as possible. A low weight in clutch and flywheel makes for an engine that revs more easily and thus accelerates faster and also needs to carry less mass.
