Pressure bearing from OS Giken. This is an extra-sturdy and extra-durable bearing with no plastic parts and a larger housing, making it suitable for heavier clutches.
The OS Giken thrust bearing is taller (35 mm) and therefore compensates for a greater height difference than the standard bearing (25 mm). This may be necessary if you’re switching from a dual-mass flywheel to a single-mass flywheel, which reduces the height of the clutch.
For example, for the E30 325i or E36 325i, all models with a 5-speed manual transmission.
