Max-Gear is a high-performance automotive gear oil known for its legendary properties. It is used by supercar manufacturers such as Pagani and Gumpert. It is designed to maximize unparalleled protection for heavily loaded gears. It ensures that gears run smoother, quieter, cooler, and last longer without needing an overhaul.
Max-Gear outperforms other gear oils because it combines the highest-quality synthetic oil with Royal Purple’s proprietary additive technology, Synerlec. Hardeman Motorsport recommends this oil for use in transmissions and differentials to ensure maximum durability.
The 75W90 is slightly thinner than 75W140, so the 75W140 can withstand higher temperatures. The 75W90 provides slightly better efficiency because it is thinner. We generally use 75W90 in transmissions (possibly with a limited-slip differential) and 75W140 in limited-slip differentials. In a standard (open) differential, we generally use 75W90.
Royal Purple is gaining ground in Europe and has also been used in the Lamborghini Supertrofeo for some time now.
1 bucket contains approximately 19 liters of oil.
