During an overhaul of the differential we replace all bearings, cups and seals. We clean the inside, blast and spray the outside and re-adjust the gears. There is a 2-year warranty on our rebuilds.
We need your differential to carry out the rebuild. The returned differential must still be driveable in order to be overhauled.
The C32 AMG sometimes has a problem with the differential, due to high loads the differential shaft will generate play on the differential clock, causing it hits the gears and there can be big bangs from the differential or it can even get completely stuck. Solving this problem can be done for about 400 euros (replacement for an open differential in good condition) Or it can be solved for good with a locking differential.
