Precision Gearing T-2 torsen lock fits in the BMW 168 rear differential for ratio 3.15 or lower and all BMW X front differentials (from 135i x-drive to X5). In terms of operation, identical to the Mfactory or Quaife variant and almost the same as a Wavetrac. The operation is completely silent and smooth, ideal for street use and maintenance is limited to oil changes.
Works a lot better than a racing diffs lock conversion and an open differential, but for motorsport and better drifting work we recommend a plate lock. A plate lock is just not available for the tight price of this lock.

The BMW 168 differential was supplied on the Neue klas/1602 to the E36. From the E30 only available on the 4 cylinder models and sometimes a 20i). (An automatic or X-drive is an exception to this rule of thumb, so contact us to be sure)
In addition, it also fits on almost all X-drive or dx/ix for differentials.
