This kit increases your braking power by upgrading the brake disc from 365mm to 380mm, for this it includes a spacer in addition to the brake disc and new bolts that move the caliper to make this fit properly. (More leverage, more cooling and more braking power plus and also bigger brakes)
The central part of our rotor is made of strict American 6061 -T6 aircraft spec aluminum. The disc is made from our own cast iron, deep cast in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor uses 48 curved guide vanes, developed during racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mounting system that uses 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, powerful by Girodisc in the U.S. to our own specifications and plated with cadmium for long-term corrosion resistance. These pins take the strain of braking while maintaining axial and radial float between the cap and the disc. The pins are secured with Class 12.9 screws with hardened washers. To prevent the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side allowing the rotor to grow with heat expansion, but eliminating the rattle and noise of floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to center itself between the brake pads.

This set of 1 brake disc includes the rotor, an aluminum flange adapter and the proper mounting hardware from the adapter to the rotor.
If these discs need replacement, only the rotor needs to be replaced, this part costs considerably less than this set.
