Largely made of aluminum for lower unsprung weight and subjected to the toughest corrosion tests. Öhlins dampers are standard equipment under many WRC cars and all McLaren street and racing products, as well as under the Renault Megane RS, Pagani and the Lamborghini Aventador.
The unique DFV system these dampers are equipped with provides unparalleled road contact even over uneven and bumpy terrain. Simply explained, the DFV valve opens extremely fast allowing your spring to do its job faster in keeping your wheel/tire on the road.
